It was a busy week in Munich at the end of October where we saw the launch of ABI's new flagship Mobilram, the TM26, at the world famous BAUMA show. Here are some pictures of the 'beast' that were taken at ABI's booth.
This new rig offers high torsional strength and combined with its HD-plus kinematics, permits load capacities of up to 20,000kg. The TM26 uses the state-of-the-art SR 45 carrier which has an EU Stage V compliant engine. The new T51 undercarriage combined with a stackable counterweight system result in excellent stability for this huge telescopic leader rig. Equipped with an MRZV36VV variable static moment, variable vibrator the rig can install exceptionally long and heavy driven steel piles and when equipped with various other drilling attachments can undertake a broad range of piling applications to 26m depth.
The new rig received a lot of positive feedback at the show. Customers were impressed with its load capacity and also remarked on how surprisingly compact it was when in transport mode. The machine specification is now available on our website – click here for details.
